President’s Report
Hi all,
I have been scrolling through our Facebook page, checking out all the wonderful activities that have been happening. The weather has been perfect for outdoor activities although April seemed to disappear in the busyness of day to day activities, school holidays, Easter and ANZAC. Someone at work asked, “Who stole April?”!
There have been a number of trips away and more coming up in the program. I’m hoping the fuel crisis won’t impact on the club activities too much.
I was sorry to miss Graham’s walks at Murramarang as the photos show what a great time they had but cataract surgery came first. It was very successful and I can’t wait to get back to walking in the bush.
This brings me to the important part of this report. The number of leaders for activities are becoming less. If members do not step up to lead, there will be no club. It does not need to be a new ride, track or paddle. Lead an activity you are comfortable with to begin. There is plenty of help in the club and we can supply a mentor for those who take up the challenge. Please consider the idea of leading so we can continue to have so many great activities.
