Max Tenhave who was a Life Member of our club, passed away on the 16th January this year.  He has been described as a real gentleman who was an interesting conversationalist and a keen bushwalker. He led many walks in the Sydney area, a place he knew well. After his 90th birthday he wrote to the club –

What I like about walking is not only the scenery but also the friends you make. People open up after a while and we get to know each other well. We are all the same, it does not matter what we do in private life, we all love the bush.

We send our deepest Sympathies to his family.
