Wes was a teacher at Coniston for many years and a very keen bushwalker.  With his lovely wife Betty he led many many walks for National Parks Association in the Illawarra in the 1980’s and 1990’s.  He was a very popular and competent leader.

He made notes for each walk on coasters.  Ronda Guy has made copies for us to share with Ramblers Club members.  She recently spoke to Wes’ wife who was thrilled to learn that his walks may live on with leaders from the Ramblers Club.
