Day trips from Wollongong	Liverpool to Wolli Creek	A long very flat ride, almost all on shared path. Some road and some very quite designated on-road cycleway. Coffee at Cabramatta. Lunch at Meadowbank
Newcastle	Mereweather to Stockton	Mereweather, Nobbys then head along the scenic coastline. By ferry across to Stockton and cycle up to the Hunter Wetlands. Return via the north breakwater then inner suburbs of Newcastle.

Newcastle	Fernleigh Track	Fernleigh Track is fully paved rail trail in excellent condition. A couple of gentle hills but mainly flat. Going through mostly bushland including wetlands / paperbark forest with lots of birdlife.
Newcastle	Belmont to Murrays Beach and Caves Beach	From Belmont, cycle path to Murrays Beach. Across ridge to Caves Beach for coffee and view of the spectacular caves. Return via Swansea headland
Newcastle	Belmont-Wallsend-Fernleigh Track Loop	Belmont to Wallsend via Speers Point and the Tramway Track. Continue via cycle paths and quiet roads to the north end of the of the Fernleigh Track for a cycle back to Belmont.
