The NSW Department of Planning. Industry and Environment is currently conducting two separate surveys regarding the waterways in our region.  As a walking, kayaking and cycling club we are major users of the creeks, rivers, Lake Illawarra and the paths and parks that surround them.

• Feedback is sought which well help prioritise work on the Lake Illawarra jetties, especially those currently in need of repair.  Submissions must be made by 30 January 2021.  For further information and a link to the survey click here.
• Have your say on how you value and use the waterways in coastal New South Wales, including the Illawarra-Shoalhaven area.  Click here for the survey which needs to be completed by 26 February 2021.

If nothing else, simply responding to these surveys shows our interest and the extent to which we value the environment around us which we enjoy almost every day of the week.
