Bushwalking NSW has advised us that our insurance does not cover e-bikes or e-bike riders.  This is a significant issue for us as the majority of Ramblers cyclists now have e-bikes.

As a first step they have asked us for information regarding number of e-bikers and participation in our cycling activities.  We have submitted our response, and have stressed that we have had e-bikes in our group for the last 4-5 years and that all our cycling activities involve e-bikes.

We hope that this issue will be resolved quickly and will keep you posted.  In the meantime, please note that if using an e-bike on a Ramblers activity, the insurance does not cover you.
