After the heat of the past months, we are all looking forward to some milder weather conditions.  Autumn is regarded by most as the best time of the year to be out and about.  Once again, we have a varied and full program covering the next three months and beyond.

Our trips away are very popular so it pays to get in early.  As always the advance notices appear at the end of the quarterly program.  Day activities and trips can be added to the online program at any time.  You need to check it regularly, especially the advance notices, so that you don’t miss out.

There are also a number of training courses, including bicycle maintenance, map and compass usage and GPS navigation for bushwalkers and kayakers. Register early as numbers are limited.

A few key dates for you to note in your diaries for 2017:

• The AGM – Saturday 23 September, will be held at the Illawarra Rhododendron Gardens. This is a beautiful venue for such an event and we are hoping it will be especially stunning in Spring.

• The Ramblers Christmas party – Friday 15 December, again at the Dapto Leagues Club.
