January 3 – 14 2019.  Four days paddling on the Upper Murray River from Bringenbrong Bridge to Towong.  Four Days paddling the lower Mitta Mitta River from Mitta Mitta to Tallangatta.  Two days off. We will be paddling from 2/3 base camps and only doing day paddles each day. A canoe trailer will be used for the turnarounds each day. Both rivers are grade 1/2 with gravel races and willows. Walk the beaches and swim the pools.  Train to Thirroul, walk through McCauley Beach Estate to Sandon Point, then onto Bulli for a swim and coffee.  Continue along the beaches via Woonona, Bellambi and east Corrimal – optional swims along the way or just enjoy wading on the water’s edge.  A final swim Towradgi Point, followed by lunch and finishing the walk at Fairy Meadow.

Joint walk with Shoalhaven Bushwalkers. Visit headland near Crocodile Head (yes you will see the crocodile) for morning tea overlooking the Pacific. Return to the main road and then walk to the Jervis Bay side to see the inner tubes and hopefully find a way down to Boat Harbour for a swim and lunch. Nearly all on track and road. Gets a bit scratchy near Boat Harbour. On return to cars, possible short drive out to Pt Perpendicular for a look.
