Before participating in an activity, please familiarise yourself with our Grading and Guidelines and in particular, check that your equipment is in good condition. 

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the advertised start time to prepare, sign on and be ready for the pre-activity briefing.

Train to Circular Quay, Ferry to Rose Bay. Walk via Royal Sydney Golf Club  (the nearest we’ll ever get to playing there), Murriverie Road, the parkland &  golf course at North Bondi. Mainly Grade 3, but we will venture off track to visit some interesting (not often seen) POIs. We will start at the Abrahams Bosom car park and make our way up to Merimbula Trig before heading on to Beecroft Head.  From here we’ll work down to the base of Old Man’s Hat and beyond (pretty scratchy for the first 50m).  Very spectacular!!!  (you’ll need to be confident rock scrambling.)  We’ll then work our way south and scramble down into Moore’s Inlet/Eves Ravine so we can admire where we’ve been.  If time permits, we will continue south, traversing past three ravines before heading back to the cars. Joint walk with Shoalhaven Bushwalkers.

A Friday 5k & koffee walk along the choice of shared path or low tide at Werri Beach. Head north crossing or walking around lagoon onto the path towards Kiama, traversing 200 metre grassy path, 10 metres of 30-40cm boulders across sandy or greenweedy,  5-10cm deep shallow rockpools/rockshelf for another 200 metres to pleasant, protected swimming hole. Sit, swim, chat, relax before returning the via same route.

Best wear versatile sandals which will give you confidence on rocks and greenweed and which won’t suffer ill-effects from salt water.If intending to swim bring swimwear, and sun cream. There are changing sheds/toilets around 400 metres from the swim site.

A rewarding outing. Koffee afterwards in Gerringong. If uncertain because of weather, check the website from 6pm thursday.

Starting at the Moes (Green) Rock car park, we’ll make our way along the rock platform (swell permitting) to Stony Creek and Cape St George. We’ll then cross a headland before descending into Rock Funnel Beach. After this, we’ll follow the faint track for spectacular views of the sea caves at Paradise Rocks which we’ll traverse around to and then follow the fire trail back to the cars. Possible swimming opportunities along the way or at Green Patch on the way back.
This is an easy Grade 4 walk but it is Grade 4. You’ll need to be comfortable walking over rough terrain.

This is a combined walk with the Shoalhaven Bushwalkers.

Specific Hazards: Slippery Rocks, an off track accent Specific Abilities: Degree of fitness, Rock hopping, unafraid of mermaids, enjoy something different
