4th to 7th March 2027

152 kms over 4 days on a wide compacted gravel surface. The landscape is stunning and will be embellished in Autumn colours.

The company Trail Journeys provides bike hire, including e-bikes, accommodation for 3 nights, daily luggage transfers, transport from Queenstown to start the ride and to Dunedin at end of ride, full briefing, detailed maps and call support throughout the journey.

Trail Journey’s quote is approximately A$1700 for these 4 days of self guided cycling.  I will book this as a Rambler’s group.

Some of us are flying to Queenstown on 2nd March and flying out of Dunedin on 9th March 2027. This will give us a day before the ride in Queenstown and a day after the ride in Dunedin.

Participants will need to book flights, and accommodation in Queenstown and Dunedin, themselves. I will advise where we are staying and flight numbers for people who want to travel as a group.
